The Filter Plant Authority is a governmental subdivision of the State of Colorado chartered as a Special District.  An elected six-member Board of Directors is responsible for overall Plant direction.  The Little Thompson and Central Weld County Water Districts each appoint 3 Directors to the Board.  The Filter Plant Board set policies and guidelines that are implemented by the General Manager of the Plant.  The Board normally meets once per month.
